Remove, Apply, Re-apply…
Once unwanted hair is removed from the root, apply to the treated area immediately. Constant and direct contact through re-applications of ELIXA’s Hair Growth Inhibitor for a period of 3 to 5 days mostly results in a permanent cessation of hair growth from such a follicle over a period of time.
How does it work?
Once unwanted hair has been removed from the root, the Hair Growth Inhibitor’s active ingredients can penetrate to the hair root. Constant and direct contact over a period of time with the Hair Growth Inhibitor will destroy the hair root and cause the follicle to constrict (shrink) therefore leading to and resulting in permanent hair re-growth reduction.
What can I expect from using it for a permanent result in reduction of hair growth?
An obvious reduction in hair growth will in some cases require from 1 up to 6 treatments; the number of treatments necessary will depend upon several factors including the growth cycles of the hair, previous methods of hair removal, heredity and normal physiological changes and can therefore differ from person to person. Hair re-growth periods will be extended; the hairs will become more sparse, finer and easier to remove with a reduced sensation of pain. Results are very individual, most clients will see permanent results should they follow the recommended treatment schedule however, in some cases several treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired result.
What is the typical course of treatments?
We recommend doing at least 6 treatments during which the results can be monitored and evaluated. In some cases, up to 6 more treatments are subsequently done and depending on the progress, intervals between treatments are either shortened or extended accordingly. Furthermore, it can be agreed upon whether to continue with another 6 treatments with the same intervals as the previously, or if considerably longer intervals.
Can everyone use it?
ELIXA’s Hair Growth Inhibitor can be used by everyone; it is effective on all hair colours, hair types, skin types, for men and women as well as face and body. Is it safe to use?
Yes! ELIXA’s Hair Growth Inhibitor is a 100% natural. Up to now there have been no side effects that have been reported after countless trials that have been performed to prove the efficacy. Safety in pregnancy and lactation has not been proven and it is thus recommended that the product not be used in such stages. Other than perhaps a patch sensitivity test for skins prone to allergic reactions, there are no special precautions to consider in the use of ELIXA’s Hair Growth Inhibitor.
Are there any limitations to efficacyof the permanent hair growth reduction with ELIXA’s Hair Growth Inhibitor?
If the desired results do not occur as expected, it can be from various reasons:
- Hormonal imbalance with regards to estrogens/testosterone of an individual will have bearing on the hair growth and will influence the degree of inhibition of hair growth. If the client has an underlying medical condition or hormonal imbalance, it must be addressed before permanent results are to be achieved.
- Inefficient removal of hair from the hair root, hair breakage from improper epilation or disregard to the proper use of the formulation in the correct method may reduce the desired results of hair growth reduction. Individuals that have weak hair which can break easily inside the hair follicle when epilating. Broken hairs prevent the formulation from reaching the hair root effectively leading to reduced effect of hair growth reduction.
